We love the holiday season and are pleased to invite you to visit Karis during the holidays. We’ll have fun, food and photos with Santa to celebrate. There’s nothing better than enjoying the holidays with friends, family and neighbors, so we’ve gathered a list of all the fun going on in and around Crowley to make your season merrier. See a few of our favorites listed below.

First Stop: Karis

  • Santa is visiting Karis! - Plan your visit to our model homes to meet the big guy, snap a photo, and get yummy food truck bites December 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th, and 17th from noon to 2pm.

 

Things to Do This Holiday Season Near Crowley

  • City of Crowley Parade of Lights - Oh, what fun! Join the city of Crowley on Main Street for Christmas in Crowley Parade of Lights. The festivities commence with a Parade of Lights down Main Street. 
  • Christmas on the Farm + Children’s Entrepreneur Market - Visit Russell Farm Art Center for a country Christmas! The festivities include Christmas craft stations, pictures with a donkey wearing antlers (bring your own camera), and other Christmas-related activities. New this year is a kids farmer's market run entirely by kids!
  • Historic Home Tour Christmas Edition at Russell Farm - While you're at Christmas on the Farm, be sure to swing by the Boren house for a free historic home tour. The house will be all dressed up for Christmas.
  • Christmas in Dinosaur Land - This brand-new museum in Fort Worth is hosting its first holiday event. Activities will include a walk through a dinosaur forest, adorned with Christmas lights, hot chocolate, crafts, and a visit from Santa or the Grinch! 
  • Cowboy Christmas on the Trail - Experience Texas Living History on the historic Chisholm Trail! Ride on a covered wagon through 5 different scenes and listen to the Legends of Texas.
  • Holiday in the Garden – The Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s event features shopping with local market vendors, a visit from Santa, a kid’s craft zone, face painting, and more!
  • ICE! featuring Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” - Step into a wonderland carved by expert artisans out of two million pounds of colorful ice with fan-favorite activities and live shows for all ages at Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center.
  • Christmas at Gaylord Texan - The grand atrium is decked out with millions of lights, and you’ll find immersive walk-through experiences, a Christmas carousel, snow tubing, arts and crafts, Charlie Brown and friends, Cirque performances, Santa photos, and more.
  • The Arlington Holiday Lights Parade – The parade and lighting of the Christmas tree is an annual fixture where thousands of people gather downtown.
  • Texas Christkindl Market – Visit this fun and festive market to shop, eat, and play and get into the holiday spirit.
  • Holiday in the Park - Head to Six Flags Over Texas for lights, a merry marketplace, and holiday attractions to bring a Texas winter wonderland in its annual event.
  • Decorators Warehouse – Shop the largest Christmas store in Texas and one of the largest in the world, located in Arlington!
  • Christmas Capital of Texas - Grapevine is the “Christmas Capital of Texas,” which means you’ll find myriad Christmas events and activities scheduled throughout the month. Experience the magical glow of Historic Downtown Grapevine at the 44th annual Parade of Lights.
