Karis is located south of downtown Fort Worth, between Interstate 35W and Chisholm Trail Parkway, and just minutes north from downtown Crowley. With everything so close, our residents have it all. They can relish Crowley’s small-town charm as well as easy access to employment, restaurants, entertainment, and retail.
From the Bicentennial Park and the verdant open parklands to the sun danced surface of Benbrook Lake where residents can fish, hike, camp, birdwatch, and picnic, to picturesque nature trails, the opportunities to immerse yourself in nature and stay active are virtually endless. Minutes away from Karis is also the Crowley Recreation Center, where members can access the state-of-the-art fitness center and two basketball courts along with classes and programs for preschool through senior adults.
The days at Karis are simpler days, where children are free to ride and explore the beauty and serenity of unspoiled nature; where families and friends came together under a star-filled sky around campfires; where you have the time and space to take it a little slower and savor life’s precious moments.
Crowley, Texas is rooted in its history, dating back to a first train station depot constructed in 1885 for local farms and ranches to move goods to other areas of the state. Over the years, it has grown and expanded its businesses and residences, with the past few years seeing growth in both; from 2000, with a population of 7,467 to the recent 2020 Census population of 18,070. We’re excited by the Crowley Comprehensive Plan 2045 that the City Council has adopted in June 2020 to renovate the city – through incorporating nature, public engagement, parks and walkable thoroughfares, and economic development. Karis is a proud part of that plan to build additional residences near green space and trails to Develop Naturally and fulfill the City of Crowley’s 2045 vision.
